I am so proud to see 'Very Famous Art To Colour In' really being engaged with by the public in Roscommon, at the Roscommon Arts Centre.
The main aim of the project was to welcome people into the 'gallery' space bringing the experience and passions of the special needs participants to the fore.
This show is about democracy, accessibility and craic. I wanted to make the 'gallery space' an appealing place to visit for me and punters alike.
We all know how overpowering and convoluted the gallery space can be so I wanted to do something that was equally engaging as much as it is 'art object'.
Also I love crayons.
If you're in the area, go visit!
